At Talk to Save Youth Football Academy, football is more than a game. It is a powerful pathway for young people in Nakuru County to discover their talent, build confidence, develop life skills, and access new opportunities.
Operating under Talk to Save Youth Organization (TSY), the Academy brings together children and young people through structured football training, mentorship, competition, and community engagement. From the first touch of the ball to the excitement of match day, every activity is designed to help players grow both on and off the pitch.
The Academy currently supports young players across U-10, U-12, U-15, U-17, and U-20 categories. Training sessions focus on technical ability, tactical awareness, fitness, teamwork, discipline, leadership, resilience, and sportsmanship. These are lessons that extend far beyond football and help participants make positive choices in their everyday lives.
Through league participation, friendly matches, youth tournaments, and street-soccer activities, TSY Football Academy gives players meaningful opportunities to test their skills, gain competitive exposure, and be seen by wider football networks. Street soccer also helps reach young people in informal settlements and public spaces who may not otherwise have access to organised sporting programmes.
Our work is rooted in inclusion. TSY Football Academy creates safe, positive spaces where young people can form friendships, stay actively engaged, and pursue their ambitions. The programme also promotes girls’ football and seeks to ensure that talented players from underserved communities are not left behind.
Behind every training session is a bigger vision: identifying talent early, developing it systematically, and linking deserving players to academies, clubs, trials, scholarships, education, mentorship, and career opportunities. With support from coaches, volunteers, community members, and partners, the Academy is helping transform potential into purpose.
To continue expanding this impact, TSY Football Academy welcomes support through training equipment, kits and boots, safe playing venues, transport, coaching expertise, player welfare, tournament costs, and long-term partnerships.
